Case Study | Gala
An amendment to the Gaming Act in which the 24 hour wait was abolished and membership could be instantaneous was exciting news for Gala and they needed to inform their potential and existing customers of this change throughout their venues. They decided to work with arken on how this new information should be conveyed.
arken proposed a lectern display with a small footprint, poster display area to provide information and a writing desk area. An application card holder and pen holder were also incorporated so visitors could complete the card before taking it to reception.
arken also designed atmospheric lightboxes that formed a 'snake' shaped line across the Casino, for an authentic Las Vegas atmosphere, and helped to create an ambience conducive to gambling, using remote-controlled dimmers, swivel lights and interchangeable graphic elements.
We also created an illuminated lightbox wall providing the effects of multiple plasma screens but without the expense. Holding static graphics it was a simple idea but highly effective. The imagery was updated monthly to provide up to-date messages with a hi-tech look.
