Case Study | Kwik Fit - product merchandising unit
This Gold award winning retail display stand for Kwik fit was designed to sell car accessories to customers whilst they waited for their car to be fixed.
As a leading tyre fitting business with over 1000 sites throughout Europe Kwik fit's daily footfall is low in comparison to traditional retail outlets. The average time spent in each outlet however is significantly higher with a typically Kwik Fit customer waiting 30-40 minutes in a small reception.
The product retail display stands also had to be flexible to satisfy the varying space available in Kwik Fit’s waiting areas, so the resulting modular bay design was perfect.
The display point of sale created real impact in the minimalist waiting rooms, and with illuminated interchangeable branding areas also providing down lighting for the products, it massively increased shopper appeal.
With very little to occupy them, these product displays were perfect for customers to peruse whilst they waited. Following a small trial of units in a few test sites, it was highlighted that sales of accessories either were on par or had exceeded sales uplift expectations and this led to a rollout in the majority of outlets nationwide.
