Case Study | O' Neill - in-store product display for wetsuits
An award winning product display design, this modular wall bay display for O’Neill wetsuits has now rolled out to over 500 stores throughout Europe.
The original brief was to design a retail display stand, which could be affordable for O'Neill's second tier retailers, almost a 'value' interpretation of arken’s previous design. The result was seen to be on equal footing with the previous generation albeit more contemporary. The shapes and curves incorporated into the product display stands took their essence from the sport's association with water and waves and also mimicked the O’Neil logo.
The high-level lightbox graphic was a priority, ensuring that O' Neill dominated the most visible and high level part of the store environment. The wall bays were designed to work side by side or back-to-back for maximum flexibility, and by displaying several bays together provided incomparable impact within this retail sector.
Event sponsorship is O'Neill's main driver and the use of modular product display wall bays within coastal water sports stores was essential should a sponsored competition be held in the local resort.
